Psalms 98

A Call to Praise the Lord for His Righteousness.

A Psalm.

1 O sing to the Lord a anew song,
For He has done bwonderful things,
His cright hand and His dholy arm have
Or accomplished salvation
gained the victory for Him.
2 fThe Lord has made known His salvation;
He has grevealed His
I.e. faithfulness to His gracious promises
righteousness in the sight of the nations.
3He has iremembered His lovingkindness and His faithfulness to the house of Israel;
jAll the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

4 kShout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth;
lBreak forth and sing for joy and sing praises.
5Sing praises to the Lord with the mlyre,
With the lyre and the
Or voice of song (accompanied by music)

osound of melody.
6With ptrumpets and the sound of the horn
qShout joyfully before rthe King, the Lord.

7Let the ssea roar and
Lit its fullness
all it contains,
The uworld and those who dwell in it.
8Let the vrivers clap their hands,
Let the wmountains sing together for joy
9Before the Lord, for He is coming to xjudge the earth;
He will judge the world with righteousness
And ythe peoples with
Or uprightness
equity.
